Cooperation Protocol between the Arab Organization for Industrialization and Kafr El-Sheikh University

During the signing of the cooperation protocol with Kafrelsheikh University, Lieutenant-General Abdel Moneim El-Terras, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, stressed the implementation of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's directives to achieve integration between universities, scientific research centers and national industrial institutions, in order to achieve the state's plan to deepen local industrialization and localize modern technology. According to the mechanisms of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and artificial intelligence, explaining that Arab Industrialization puts all its capabilities and technological expertise to promote digital transformation and manage all the needs of the colleges and research centers of Kafrelsheikh University.

In this regard, the "Terrace" clarified that Arab Industrialization has an ambitious plan to enhance communication with universities and research centers to localize technology and deepen local manufacturing in accordance with the standards of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, as well as strengthening efforts to support young innovators.

The "Terrace" praised the integrated system of engineering education and scientific research at Kafrelsheikh University, its serious vision in various engineering and scientific fields and many applied research projects, which can provide innovative industrial solutions to various industrial sectors, pointing to the authority's interest in joint cooperation in training and support for research projects and innovations. Applicable industrial industries to serve the various manufacturing sectors, and organize training courses in common areas and summer training programs in various engineering disciplines in the production and research units of the Authority, as well as training human cadres in Arabic for manufacturing in specialized courses at Kafrelsheikh University.

 

The Terrace also made it clear that it was agreed to joint coordination in the research fields and to make use of the material capabilities and infrastructure available to the two parties in terms of machines, equipment and human cadres in production work for various industrial fields, and in completing the practical part of student projects in accordance with international quality standards.

 

He added that the areas of cooperation also include meeting the needs of Kafrelsheikh University in many areas, including digital transformation, electronic mechanization, various educational aids, computers, laboratories, electronic display screens, surveillance camera systems, electronics, networks, computers, administrative and educational furniture, solar plants, energy-saving systems, smart water saver systems, and sports equipment. Medical supplies, medical and hazardous waste incinerators, environmental protection equipment and many other fields to serve the university's development plans and strategies.

In a related context, the "Terrace" stressed the importance of benefiting from the modern scientific disciplines at Kafrelsheikh University in the fields of artificial intelligence, computer science and smart manufacturing, noting that these disciplines represent future sciences, for all industries, in accordance with the standards of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

 

For his part, Prof. Dr. Abdel Razek Youssef Desouki, President of Kafrelsheikh University, expressed his confidence in the success of this cooperation, due to the continuous support provided by the Arab Organization for Industrialization - the industrial backstop of the state - to various scientific institutions in the fields of training and scientific research to transform research outputs into applied models that can Benefiting from it in various industrial fields and qualifying them for the labor market.

Desouki also praised the vision of Al-Arabiya for Industrialization, the industrial back-up of the state, to deepen local manufacturing, localize modern technology, and train human cadres in accordance with the standards of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and digital

transformation.

The visit also included a visit to the training academy of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, where training and qualification systems for human cadres in all fields of industry, administration, information systems, communication technology, smart automated management mechanisms, and training on programmed machines were reviewed.
